Where does the data come from?
All practice information is sourced from the National Health Services Directory via Geoscience Australia, published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. We refresh our data quarterly to keep listings current.
How many practices are listed?
GPScout currently lists 8,081 health service practices across 2,938 suburbs in all 8 states and territories. This includes general practices, Aboriginal health services, maternal and child health services, nurse-led clinics, skin cancer clinics, walk-in centres, and other primary care providers.
Is GPScout free?
Yes. No sign-up, no fees, no paywall. GPScout is and will remain free to use.
